Why Homeless People Leave So Much Trash

Lisa Cowden is a resident of Nevada County who has homeless people living on her property during the warm months. She is quite concerned about the destruction of her property, and at the same time she understands their plight.

About the project:

A-Place-To-Call-Home
These stories "caught" by StoryCatchers, Betty Louise and Susan M. Davis, inspire inclusion and common humanity with homeless people and promote compassionate action with the community at large. Stories connect us to our humanity. The Humanities, Arts, and Media communicate Story. The result is cultural transformation. This project was made possible with support from California Humanities, a partner of the NEH. Visit www.calhum.org.
