A Spiritual Warrior Committed to Serving Homeless People - Part 1

Janice O’Brien, tireless servant to homeless people, shares how this path chose her. She vulnerably tells us the tragic story of her homeless son and daughter-in-law, and how she became close to the chronically homeless in Nevada County while helping her son. She continues her fascinating story of how and why she learned to treat ALL people with utmost dignity.

About the project:

These stories "caught" by StoryCatchers, Betty Louise and Susan M. Davis, inspire inclusion and common humanity with homeless people and promote compassionate action with the community at large. Stories connect us to our humanity. The Humanities, Arts, and Media communicate Story. The result is cultural transformation. This project was made possible with support from California Humanities, a partner of the NEH. Visit www.calhum.org.
