Searching For A Heart's Home - Part 2

A traumatic brain injury at age four left Sumner unable to cope with society as it is. Now without physical shelter for four years and being "at the mercy of compassion from everyone," he lives in the woods and finds it electrifying.

About the project:

These stories "caught" by StoryCatchers, Betty Louise and Susan M. Davis, inspire inclusion and common humanity with homeless people and promote compassionate action with the community at large. Stories connect us to our humanity. The Humanities, Arts, and Media communicate Story. The result is cultural transformation. This project was made possible with support from California Humanities, a partner of the NEH. Visit www.calhum.org.
