Jonathan Hawkins, 24, has been suffering from severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 12 years. This disease is characterized by profound fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, sleep abnormalities, autonomic manifestations, pain, and other symptoms, all made worse by exertion of any sort.

The most recent information from the Centers for Disease Control in the US (CDC) is that we actually know less than we thought we did in the last few years, and that the PACE recommendations have been rescinded, as potential harmful to many or most sufferers.

Rebecca Palley shares Jonathan's and her experiences in hopes of raising awareness of this devastating illness, no longer considered rare.
