A man living "Home-Free", a citizen without a home, shares his story, experiences and his vision for the future. Robert Hilligas, an articulate homeless man, explains that the homeless people are no different than anyone else. He is committed to finding solutions for the entire community.
About the project:
These stories "caught" by StoryCatchers, Betty Louise and Susan M. Davis, inspire inclusion and common humanity with homeless people and promote compassionate action with the community at large. Stories connect us to our humanity. The Humanities, Arts, and Media communicate Story. The result is cultural transformation. This project was made possible with support from California Humanities, a partner of the NEH. Visit www.calhum.org.
