Host Lori Burkart Frank traces Amy Irani’s path from pre-med student at the University of Upper Iowa (where dissection and the appearance of blood let to a career-direction change!) to environmental health in Las Vegas and finally to Nevada County, where she and her 13 staff folks oversee everything from our wells and septic tanks to tattoo parlors, from campgrounds to cell towers, from hazardous materials to food establishments, and always with a focus on helping businesses and the community prosper.
