Nevada County Pets in Need provides food and pet supplies to Low-Income, Senior and Veteran pet owners.
Nevada County Pets in Need is looking for volunteers to help in the Thrift Store and to package and distribute of food.

Everyone in California will have an opportunity to get vaccinated against COVID-19, but the vaccine supply is currently limited so groups who are at highest risk, like people with a high chance of exposure and people 65 and older are first in line.

Critters are having babies and Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release Intake Center is now open for the season.

The Grass Valley Downtown Association presents: 4th of July “Weekend on the Town” in Grass Valley.
On Saturday, July 3rd, enjoy a pancake breakfast, carnival games, food vendors and the music of 50’s rock band, "Rewind Press." And on Sunday, the 4th of July watch the parade in the morning and the fireworks in the evening.

The Miners Foundry is pleased to present Th’ Losin Streaks with special guests Hazz on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the Osborn/Woods Hall at the Miners Foundry Cultural Center.
California’s favorite garage-punks Th’ Losin Streaks got together after years of watching each other play in different Sacramento groups. Obsessed with 1960’s garage bands, the four have honed a sound that is both fresh and familiar. Doors open at 7:00pm and the Show begins at 8:00pm.
