Cajun and Zydeco on Jan 31 Blues Spectrum

Written by on January 21, 2021

Cajun and Zydeco music originated with the French speaking Creole people living in Western Louisiana. Cajun music traditionally features the fiddle and sometimes an accordion while with Zydeco music, the accordion and rub-board are prominent. Both styles were popular in dance halls around the country (and will be again someday!).

Join Don Lipari, the guest host of Blues Spectrum for a Sunday afternoon of Cajun, Zydeco, Swamp Pop, and Blues on Jan 31 at 1pm on KVMR.
