Brian Eno - Reflection

Brian Eno - Reflection (Excerpt) - Single - Warp Records

Brian Peter George St John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno, originally christened Brian Peter George Eno) is an English musician, composer, record producer, singer, writer, and visual artist. He is best known for his pioneering work in ambient and electronic music as well as his contributions to rock, worldbeat, chance, and generative music styles. A self-described "non-musician", Eno has advocated a methodology of "theory over practice" throughout his career, and has helped to introduce a variety of unique recording techniques and conceptual approaches into contemporary music. He has been described as one of popular music's most influential and innovative figures.

Reflection is a studio album by Brian Eno, released on 1 January 2017 on Warp Records. It is a single piece of ambient music produced by Eno that runs for 54 minutes in length. Released on CD, vinyl, and digital download, a generative version of the album is available as an app that changes the music at different times of the day.

The xx are an English band formed in 2005 in Wandsworth, London. The group released its debut album, xx, in August 2009. The album was a commercial and critical success and was ranked highly on many best of 2009 lists, including number one on the list compiled by The Guardian and second for NME. In 2010, the band won the Mercury Prize for its debut album. Their second album, Coexist, was released on 10 September 2012. The band's third studio album, I See You, will be released on 13 January 2017 on the Young Turks label. It is the follow-up to their sophomore album Coexist, and is their first release in more than four years.

Member Jamie xx released his solo debut In Colour in May 2015 and reflected that it would influence the sound and aesthetic of I See You.

The band has stated that the record will have a more distinctive sound and a more positive, open and "expansive" concept than the previous two albums.
