Wesley Robertson was born and spent most of his life in California. He moved to Nevada City City/Grass Valley area from the central coast in '87. Within months Wesley enrolled in the KVMR Broadcaster class and started doing substitute work on various country influenced shows on KVMR (Hard Country, Hillbilly Jukebox & the California Okie shows).
As of April 1990, Wesley was awarded his first and still current show on KVMR; Rockin-N-Stompin, Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Within the last 10+ years Wesley has become more involved with radio projects linked to various musical festivals and concert events.
Now he is a regular broadcasting staff member for the California Bluegrass Association's Father's Day Weekend Festival and the executive producer of KVMR's live broadcast of WorldFest and KVMR's Celtic Festival. KVMR: On The Road Live is another manifestation of Wesley's love and commitment to live music broadcast. Starting with the "Rockin'-N-Stompin' at The Palms" series that he launched in March of 2000 during his Saturday afternoon show he eventually starting broadcasting evening performances at the Palms and followed them to Winters once the Palms moved. Currently KVMR: On The Road Live features shows from the Big Room at the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico.
