In 1982, Len Gorsky - an avid collector of jazz vinyl for years - offered his services to KVMR as a guest disc jockey. His plan was to do a one-shot stint, play some of his favorite stuff, and call it a day.
Instead, he was encouraged to join the broadcaster's training class - and his dream began to unfold. Len has had the same program in the same time slot for 15 years, making him one of the "old boys" of the station.
A signmaker by trade, he likes to listen to mainstream jazz, Motown, and Brian Wilson.
