On Saturday afternoon, December 5th blues legend Charlie Musselwhite stopped by the KVMR studio's while Felton Pruitt was filling in on Wesley Robertson's show. Charlie sat and talked with Felton about his early days playing the blues in Memphis and Chicago. Charlie also let it be known that age of 16 he ran moonshine in a 1950 Lincoln.
Michael Gaither joined Wesley for a visit on Saturday, November, 14th in the 2 o'clock hour. Michael is a singer-songwriter from Santa Cruz and performed at Evangeline's in Colfax that night.
Golden Cadillacs passed by Rockin' 'N' Stompin' for a short on Saturday, November, 14th at 3:00 PM. The Golden Cadillacs are a Sacramento band and will be playing behind Dave Gleason at the Palms that same evening.
Joe Getty & the Dead Flowers visited Wes on Sat. Nov. 7th and brought their instruments for a little live music. Joe is in the radio duo Armstrong & Getty. They will playing at the Palms on 11-13-09 with his radio sidekick's (Armstrong) band, The Painkillers.
