the California Okie shows). As of April 1990, Wesley was awarded his first and still current show on KVMR; Rockin'-N-Stompin', Saturdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Within the last few years Wesley has become more involved with radio projects linked to various musical festivals and concert events. Now he is a regular broadcasting staff member for the High Sierra Music Festival, California Bluegrass Association's Father's Day Weekend Festival and the California World Music Festival (of which he was executive producer in 2000). A new manifestation of Wesley's love and commitment to live music are the live broadcasts of the "Rockin'-N-Stompin' at The Palms" series that he launched in March of 2000. Since '87 Wesley has been employed in the Placer County Health and Human Resources department, currently as a Vocational Counselor. |
