Bruce's show has the informal feel of having invited you into his living room to play you all his favorites ... as well as trying out some new things on your ears and your head. He likes to compare, contrast and feels that jazz is a medium of communication.

Playing primarily instrumentals yet not neglecting the jazz vocalist, he uses the KVMR library extensively to supplement his own. His focus is on,

"jazz with a bite, jazz with a kiss, jazz for you ...... and others." Jazz that encompasses the recent past, today and the forging of tomorrow.

A full spectrum jazz program, Bruce communicates and shares a love for an original American art form that is forever changing and evolving ... that embraces a wide range of sensibilities and represents a constant dialogue.
