KVMR is Nevada County's official emergency station.  Stay tuned to 89.5FM or 105.1FM in Truckee/Tahoe for vital information in the event of power outages, inclement weather conditions, fires, school closures and meeting cancellations, etc. 

KVMR is the area's only radio station with a broadcaster in the studio, 24 hours a day.
