"The duo’s near-telepathic interplay was dazzling both for its breathtaking technical prowess and its boundless dynamism, be it in tunes from that same golden era, the age of Burns and Gow, or Fraser’s own memorable compositions.” - Sue Wilson, Hi-Arts Journal

"While his fiddle dances, her cello throbs darkly or plucks puckishly. Then she opens her cello's throat, joining Fraser in soaring sustains, windswept refrains, and sudden, jazzy explosions. Their sound is as urbane as a Manhattan midnight, and as wild as a Clackmannan winter." - Scott Alarik, Boston Globe

Home-town favorite Alasdair Fraser and cellist Natalie Haas return to the Celtic Festival for a dash of that very special Scottish fiddle magic.

Fraser's dynamic fiddling, engaging stage presence, and deep understanding of Scotland's music have created a constant and international demand for his solo appearances and concerts with a variety of ensembles.

Alasdair has been a major force behind the resurgence of traditional Scottish fiddling in his homeland and the U.S., inspiring legions of listeners and learners through his recordings, annual fiddle camps, and concerts.
